News Easter 2012

Just a few updates for you

The good news first - we started recording songs for our 4th CD release last weekend 30 March through till Sunday. It was a busy weekend - very long nights but heaps of fun......into the spooky hours. A reunited production team of Eliot and Simon is busy editing the first 3 track recordings as we speak.

We have been gigging heaps and the band is cookin!

However on a disheartening note we were contacted by a fan who had been waiting 3 long months for delivery of our first CD Delusions Of Grandeur - ordered through JB HI FI - this is not the first time JB HI FI have let us down. We heard numerous horror stories over Xmas of major and indy CDs including Pink Floyd taking 4 months for delivery!!! This is unacceptable so we will be contacting the distributors (MGM) and chasing through.

Our first CD "Delusions of Grandeur" is the only CD impacted as it is the only CD distributed via MGM. In the meantime we have our web staff working on updating our web site links for this album back to Pay Pal so we can ensure quality control.

More recent CDs and downloads are all working fine via iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby and Reverb Nation etc.

For those who reported this and those who have been inconvenienced our most humble apologies. We are doing everything in our power to iron out these 3rd party bugs ASAP!!!!

What an awesome way to see in 2012, a great gig, a great venue and most importantly all the wonderful people who came along and made it so fabulous!!!! We thank you for all your support and hope you have a rockin' new year!!!!! We'll be heading to Tamworth this month, playing the Wests Tamworth Bowls Club on Friday the 27th (during the festival) and then gigging at the Royal Exchange Hotel (Windsor) on Sunday Jan 29th from 3pm-7pm, great Thai food at this venue, an awesome beer garden and the kidlets are welcome.

Well we were so pumped for this gig last night - we had been planning for months and no one was dissapointed. A full house, amazing for a gig out of our usual "comfy" Blue Mountains region. We sold out of CDs! The band had a special treat as Gill had the audience sing songs and even strip - does the memory of pairs of moon tanned dancing male buttocks really need to be erased from my mind..........??

The owners and their son said it was the BEST night ever! We agree and will be back again soon Lithgow! Thanks for your support and encouragement - you are AWESOME!

Next up is the Blaxland Tavern on Friday Sepetember 9 - hope to see you there!!!!!

PS we promise we will have freshCD stock over the next few days.

PPS and a BIG cobgratulations to the Lithgow Bears for their Premiership win 2011!

Last week we headed out West and are securing gigs for central west NSW tour starting in Lithgow August 20 at the Court House Hotel - Bathurst, Orange, Cowra dates being planned. We are working on Victorian and Tasmanian dates - so will keep you posted here.

Well Sideshow Annie's Thing video on youtube is up to 275 views in 2 weeks - amazing....thanks for your support!

We are working through beta formats so we can submit to TV as well in the coming weeks.

Als we were back in the studio today recording some cover demos so we can come to a pub/club/party near you and rock on!

We have 4 hours of originals and covers in the bag but it is cool to add some extra covers so we don't bore you and can more readily adjust the sets for live audiences.

Although SideShow Annie is a band /musicial character we may posiibly see you at Annie the Musical during the season if we are not playing that night ourselves or working at SongCave Studios as Annie is a wonderful musical!
